Standard Valuation:
Every mover in Texas is required to carry the standard liability valuation of $.60 per pound, per article. This coverage is available to you on any move at no additional cost. While this amount will typically cover the costs required to repair damaged items, it may not be enough to replace them. You may have some items that require extra coverage. One option is to purchase additional coverage below or even move select items yourself if you cannot justify the cost of additional coverage. While Consumer Focused Moving & Storage makes every effort to transport your belongings safely, occasionally accidents can occur. When doing an estimate for you, if we come across any items we feel we can not safely transport, we will bring it to your attention at that point and discuss what available option works best for you.
Full Replacement Value Coverage:
If you decide that full coverage for your belongings is the way to go, we recommend contacting Baker International Insurance at 1-800-356-0093. They are located right here in Texas and are a very reputable company. They can get you a quote over the phone that covers 100% of the replacement value of your items.
